Position Overview

The Culinary Support Staff plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and other items to dining areas while setting tables for service
  • Efficiently clear and sanitize tables, trays, and chairs after use
  • Assist in loading buspans and trays for service
  • Organize and store dishes in designated areas
  • Restock condiments and supplies at tables and serving stations
  • Maintain accurate records of food quantities utilized
  • Prepare take-out food orders
  • Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple food items
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and refuse properly
  • Sharpen kitchen knives as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits for meal preparation
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a commitment of 35 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
