Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Yogesh Hospitality Ltd. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food service delivery
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations and performance
  • Team Collaboration and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to achieve operational goals
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers to ensure seamless food service delivery
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management or a related field
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and lifting
  • Personal Qualities and Skills
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Client focus and ability to work in a team environment
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
