Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at New Indian Restaurant. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure a well-stocked bakery.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by conducting regular quality checks.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Language: Proficient in English.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
