Job Title: Transportation Logistics Supervisor

CDS-Baggage Storage is seeking a skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of our logistics operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials, resolving work problems, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Operations: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials.
  • Team Management: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, including shippers and receivers, transportation route and crew schedulers, and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support logistics operations.

Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics operations
