About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team at Budget Embroidery Ltd. As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating large automatic multi-needle machines to embroider or to sew lengths of several layers of material.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Operate large automatic multi-needle machines to embroider or to sew lengths of several layers of material.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair minor mechanical problems such as broken or defective needles and notify supervisor or repairers of mechanical malfunctions.
  • Investigation and Troubleshooting: Investigate machine stoppages and identify the root cause of the issue.
Work Environment

As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you will be working in a fast-paced fabric embroidery shop environment. The work site environment is noisy, and you will be required to stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn is essential.
  • Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, ability to stand for extended periods, and repetitive tasks are required.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
