Job Summary

Mechanical design engineers/designers at Macro Engineering & Technology Inc. play a crucial role in designing equipment from concept to detailed drawings, ensuring cost-effective quality. Their primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree/diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanical designer, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Design and Engineering Skills
    • Proficiency in design software, including Inventor 3D and other relevant tools.
    • Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles, fabrication processes, and materials science.
    • Deep understanding and application of pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical components, and systems.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Additional Requirements
    • Experience in piping design is a definite advantage.
    • Experience with plastic extrusion machinery, web-handling equipment, or die design is a definite asset.
