Job Title: Sr Power BI Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Power BI Consultant to join our Engineering department at KalSoft, a multi-award-winning trusted technology partner in business innovation. As a Sr Power BI Consultant, you will work closely with clients to design and develop end-to-end Power BI solutions, leveraging your expertise in data modeling, visualization, and business intelligence.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Power BI solutions that meet client requirements, including data modeling, report creation, and dashboard development.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and understand data needs, ensuring seamless integration of Power BI solutions.
  • Implement data transformations and ETL processes to prepare data for analysis and visualization, optimizing Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients in deploying and managing Power BI solutions, ensuring successful adoption and utilization.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive business value and innovation.
Requirements/Skill Set:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with expert skills in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
  • Strong proficiency in Power Query M language and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
  • Experience in data modeling and designing efficient data schemas for Power BI solutions.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
  • Power BI certification(s) preferred.
