Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct geotechnical assessments for various structures including buildings, highways, and bridges.
- Oversee field reviews of construction activities and perform material testing on geotechnical samples.
- Assist senior engineers in developing proposals and technical documentation.
- Engage in geotechnical engineering analysis.
Your Qualifications:
- A graduate degree in a Geo-Engineering discipline such as Geotechnical or Geological Engineering.
- Experience in the Geo-engineering sector in Canada is preferred but not mandatory.
- Eligibility to register for EIT status with EGBC or in the process of application.
- Prior experience in consulting geotechnical engineering is advantageous.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A valid BC Driver's License.
- Strong technical, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Experience in remote work environments, including forestry or mining sectors.
- Excellent analytical and project management skills.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, manage pressure, meet deadlines, and work well in diverse settings.
Compensation Overview:
Salary Range (in British Columbia): $43,900 - $91,700. The final salary will be determined based on various factors including education, qualifications, experience, and organizational needs.
