About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Khinda Concrete Ltd. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • No formal education is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Operational Experience
    • We will provide on-the-job training to ensure you have the necessary skills to excel in this role.
  • Key Tasks
    • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a high-quality finish.
    • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
    • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications to meet our quality standards.
    • Impart a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
    • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance to ensure they develop the necessary skills to succeed in this role.
    • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure a secure and durable finish.
    • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to prevent damage and extend the lifespan of our concrete structures.
    • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain our high standards.
    • Estimate costs and materials to ensure accurate budgeting and efficient project management.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements and ensure compliance.
    • Work Environment
      • This is a permanent, full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
      • The work language is English, and proficiency in this language is essential for success in this role.
