Job Overview:
Thompson Bros. (CONSTR.) LP is in search of dedicated General Laborers to assist in our Forestry Division. This position encompasses a variety of manual labor tasks associated with forestry activities, including supporting equipment operators and maintaining work sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the loading and unloading of tools and materials.
  • Conduct general cleanup and upkeep of the site.
  • Provide assistance to operators with various tasks as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Foster a safe and productive work atmosphere.

Required Qualifications:

  • Capability to handle physically intensive tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Strong commitment to work and dependability.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license.
  • Certification in Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS).
  • Certification from the Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA), BSO or CSO equivalent.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol screening.
