About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at ABHAY TRUCKING INC. as a Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Complete detailed reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment repair or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial transport truck systems and repair techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Work Environment
