Position Overview

Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled Service Truck Driver to manage a Tire Service Vehicle. This role is distinct from a typical delivery driver position. We encourage qualified individuals to submit their applications online or provide a resume directly.

As a Service Truck Driver, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, balancing, and rotating commercial and OTR tires both on-site and in-store.
  • Efficiently repairing commercial and automotive tires.
  • Conducting inspections of tires and wheels for proper inflation, wear patterns, and tread depth.
  • Responding to initial service requests.
  • Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
  • Ensuring all tools and equipment are returned in optimal condition.
  • Operating both company and customer vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Delivering professional and accurate customer service.
  • Maintaining tire service equipment.
  • Following safety protocols for all equipment operations.

What qualifications are needed?

  • Expertise in commercial and OTR tire services is essential.
  • A collaborative spirit and readiness to tackle various tasks.
  • A valid driver's license is required, along with a satisfactory driving record.
  • The role may involve unpredictable conditions, including physical demands and varying weather, so resilience is key.
