Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Shell Gas Station and Convenience Store. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of sales floor staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to perform their tasks.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they meet the store's standards.
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage the store's cash handling procedures.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform store operations.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 30 to 35 hours per week.
