About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional EHS/Safety Manager to join our team at APG Canada West. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor EHS performance and provide guidance to facility leaders.
- Collaborate with area managers to ensure EHS programs are effectively implemented and facility performance data is accurate and timely.
- Provide training and support to facility leaders and employees on EHS-related matters.
- Monitor and report on occupational hygiene testing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the Regional EHS Director on global APG and CRH initiatives and strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems.
