We are seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our team at Diamond Drywall Co ltd. As a Drywall Taper, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply successive coats of compound to drywall surfaces
- Sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
- Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
- Fabricate and install drywall panels
- Install drywall anchors and screws
- Finish drywall surfaces with joint compound and tape
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Relocation costs covered by employer
- Willing to relocate
- Physically demanding work environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility and reliability
- Team player with excellent communication skills
