The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver in our warehouse. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of goods in and out of our facility.

The Role

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against delivery documents and accurately inputting information into our tracking system.
  • Pack and prepare outgoing shipments in accordance with customer and branch orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Coordinate with carriers to arrange for timely delivery of goods, maintaining accurate records and Bills of Lading.
  • Stock shelves with received shipments, utilizing our sorting and organization systems and equipment, including forklifts.
  • File and manage packing slips, service documents, and production records as required.
  • Complete daily forklift logs and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and maintain a high level of inventory control.
  • Handle emergency orders and inter-branch transfers as needed.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

The Candidate

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; valid forklift license/certification; valid driver's license and insurability.
  • Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role; previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Knowledge: Competent in Microsoft Office and able to learn our warehouse management systems.
