Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and courteous Food Service Associate to join our team at Royal Tandoor Indian Cuisine Limited. As a key member of our dining staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, ensuring that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Inventory Management: Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware, ensuring that our cellar is well-stocked and our glassware is clean and polished.
  • Order Taking and Communication: Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other members of the dining staff to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for our guests.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
