About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at Jit's Building Maintenance. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or renovations, and recommend these to management.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including budgets and invoices.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and assistance to cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the resources and equipment required to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as facilities management and maintenance, to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules that ensure our facilities are cleaned and maintained efficiently and effectively.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, and bending. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a cleaning or maintenance environment
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
