Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Million Miles Logistics Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Logistics: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, performing preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, obtaining special permits and documents required for international routes.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a dusty environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgment, and reliability.
