Culinary Specialist

**About the Role**
ATCO Frontec is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to support our emergency response camps in Western Canada. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Chef in food preparation and service, adhering to ATCO Frontec's Food Service Management Guides.
- Coordinate inventory control, ensuring sufficient stock levels to reduce food waste and maintain quality.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, assigning work area responsibilities to ensure efficient and sanitary food preparation and service.
- Inspect kitchen facilities, utensils, and equipment for regulatory compliance, including kitchen logs and daily cleaning schedules.
**Requirements**
- Red Seal Certification (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Culinary Specialist or Sous Chef in the hotel/restaurant industry.
- Advanced Food Safe Certificate required.
- Professional communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work with and supervise other kitchen employees.
