Job Title: Script Person

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Script Person to join our team at Ethnic Channels Group Limited.

Job Summary:

The Script Person will be responsible for assisting with script development, coordination, and implementation for our radio and television productions. This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with script development, including researching and writing scripts, and coordinating with production teams.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure scripts are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Assist with scheduling and arranging travel and itineraries for production teams.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Assist with equipment setup and maintenance, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as communications or media production.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as script coordination or production assistance.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
Work Environment:

The Script Person will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines. The position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The position is 30 hours per week.
