Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Fourview Trucking Ltd. as a Heavy Haul Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Route Optimization: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
- Team Collaboration: Coach colleagues on new methods and work techniques to improve overall performance.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to maintain accurate records.
- Customer Service: Provide professional service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Certifications: Possess an AZ class license and a valid driver's license.
- Experience: Have experience in long-haul and short-haul trucking, with a strong understanding of route optimization and vehicle maintenance.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Environment: Be able to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular hours of 40 to 50 hours per week.
