Ethnic Food Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Indian Spice. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes, including South Indian and East Indian cuisine.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
