This role is set in a vibrant hotel, motel, and resort atmosphere where you will engage with a diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Prepare and serve specialty dishes directly to guests.
  • Present bills and process payments using various methods.
  • Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials.
  • Adhere to provincial/territorial liquor regulations.
  • Offer recommendations on menu selections.
  • Manage cash balances and record sales accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Assist guests in selecting wines and beverages.
  • Welcome patrons, present menus, and answer inquiries regarding food and drink.
  • Take orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff.

Certifications
