The Position

The Welder is tasked with the welding of various equipment and products utilized by clients across North America.

Work hours are set for Day Shift: 8 hours daily, Monday to Friday (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine traveler/job packages
  • Collect necessary parts, tools, and fixtures
  • Maintain and repair welding equipment
  • Perform TG and Micro tube welding
  • Execute brazing tasks
  • Conduct oxy-fuel welding
  • Complete quality control checklists to ensure manufactured products meet established standards
  • Verify that parts are free from visible damage
  • Continuously enhance work processes and methodologies
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, laws, codes, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficient in using oxy-acetylene torch, plasma cutter, angle grinder, and various cutting and buffing tools
  • CWB certified in TIG welding for carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum in flat position
  • CWB certified in MIG welding for carbon steel in flat position
  • TSSA certification for 2" steel pipe with stick welding
  • TSSA certification for open root MIG welding in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A minimum of five (5) years of TIG welding experience is essential; micro tube welding experience with TIG is preferred
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality, embodying craftsmanship
  • Capacity to thrive in a high-volume, results-oriented work environment
  • Ability to perform tasks while standing for extended periods
  • Experience with pressure vessels is advantageous
