Job Title: Part-Time High School Math Tutor

We are seeking a part-time math tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Richmond Hill - Oak Ridges. As a math tutor, you will work directly with high school students to help them succeed in math.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one math tutoring to high school students
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
  • University students with excellent knowledge of the current Grades 11-12 math curriculum
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Some experience teaching/tutoring math at Grades 11 and 12
  • Strong math skills and ability to guide students' understanding
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
