Tomlinson Environmental Services is seeking a skilled AZ/DZ Truck Driver/Operator to join its Industrial Waste Division in Kingston, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to Tomlinson's Safe Operating Practices and MTO requirements.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle systems and equipment are in good condition.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues to the Operations Team or Dispatch.
  • Secure cargo properly and follow safety procedures for transporting hazardous materials.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Administer bills of lading and maintain log books.
  • Notify the Operations Team of any incidents, accidents, or property damage.
  • Communicate customer requests to the Operations Team or Dispatch.
  • Perform duties as scheduled by the Operations Team or Dispatch, and assist other drivers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid AZ or DZ driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Clean driving abstract and CVOR required.
  • Industrial cleaning or waste experience considered an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including after-hours calls and weekends.
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to perform safety inspections.
