Position Overview

RK Pizza Inc. is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to assist in our bustling kitchen environment. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our food preparation areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dish Management: Ensure that clean dishes, utensils, and other kitchen items are delivered to serving areas and tables are set appropriately.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashing equipment to maintain cleanliness of dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Food Packaging: Prepare take-out orders by packaging food items securely.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in portioning, wrapping, and finishing simple food items as required.
  • Ingredient Preparation: Utilize both manual and electrical kitchen tools to clean, peel, slice, and trim various food products.
  • Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen, including work surfaces, storage areas, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in appropriate storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Responsible for the removal of kitchen waste and trash.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish kitchen floors to ensure a clean working environment.
  • Vegetable and Fruit Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as needed.
Qualifications
  • Legal Work Status: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Relocation: Willingness to relocate for the position is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
