Job Summary:The Meat Cutter will be responsible for cutting and processing meat products in our slaughterhouse and meatpacking plant. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses
- Cut beef, lamb, pork or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging
- Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use
- Remove bones from meat
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to work in a noisy and hot environment
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
- Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles required

Our slaughterhouse and meatpacking plant operate 30 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent schedule.
