- Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Inspect hoists, cranes, systems, chain falls, and pullers, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Order Parts and Maintain Inventory: Order parts and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand to complete tasks efficiently.
- Keep Maintenance Reports and Documentation: Keep accurate and detailed maintenance reports and documentation, tracking all work performed and equipment maintenance.
- Perform Crane Inspections and Repairs: Perform crane inspections, repairs, installations, and respond to breakdown calls, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition.
- Adjust Equipment and Repair or Replace Defective Parts: Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.
- Ensure Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation: Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation (OHSA), promoting safe working practices and awareness of rights.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent: Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum.
- 3 Years of Crane Experience: 3 years of crane experience, with a strong understanding of crane operations and maintenance.
- Experience Working in a Manufacturing Environment: Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and equipment.
- Welding Experience Considered an Asset: Welding experience considered an asset, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and safety protocols.
- Critical Thinking Skills: Critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
- Technically Inclined: Technically inclined, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
