We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for translating customer orders and sales forecasts into a production schedule, ensuring the accuracy of planning, and optimizing the use of equipment and labor.
Key Responsibilities- Develop optimized production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer order priorities, labor availability, and equipment availability.
- Respond to and integrate new information provided by sales, customer service, or operations teams and adjust the production plan accordingly.
- Complete production reports and efficiently manage performance indicators.
- Participate in the transactional process to ensure that usage declarations are made on work orders.
- Conduct analysis and provide explanations for usage variances on work orders.
- Master the transactional process related to the receipt of goods to ensure they are properly received in our system.
- Master the transactional invoicing process for orders to support the shipping department.
- University or college degree in a relevant field such as Operations Management, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, etc.
- Excellent customer service and strong ability to follow up and strictly meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated skills in autonomy, rigor, meticulousness, and decision-making.
- Strong planning and priority management abilities to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
- Knowledge of SAP, KBM, Excel, Outlook, and Teams software.
