We are seeking qualified Substitute Teachers to join our team at Pembina Hills School Division.
Job Summary:
Pembina Hills School Division is a dynamic and collaborative learning environment that provides education to approximately 3800 students in 15 community schools in north central Alberta. As a Substitute Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including Junior High and Senior High locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support to students in a collaborative school team environment
- Facilitate an inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success
- Utilize educational technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Work effectively with colleagues to achieve divisional goals and objectives
- Manage inherent risks in the work environment and report any unknown risks to supervisors
Requirements:
- Valid Alberta teaching certificate
- Proficiency in the use of educational technology
- Successful classroom teaching experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work in a flexible learning environment
