Job Summary

At Roadway Towing Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing roadside assistance and towing services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate repair costs: Determine the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed.
  • Customer service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Vehicle maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Emergency roadside repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs and ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.
  • Pre-trip and post-trip inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi-trailer trucks.
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence: Possess a valid Class 3/3F/DF Licence for trailer trucks and vehicles with more than 3 axles.
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence for cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
  • Excellent communication skills: Possess excellent written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and dispatch.
