Position Overview

The role of a Textile Quality Inspector at J & A INTERNATIONAL INC involves meticulous examination and evaluation of fabrics and products to ensure they meet established quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of fabrics and finished products for compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Grading and Inspection: Assess and grade hides, pelts, or leather, ensuring only the best materials are utilized.
  • Defect Identification: Identify and mark defects in products, ensuring they are addressed appropriately.
  • Product Preparation: Package products efficiently and prepare samples for further evaluation.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections and grading results.
  • Minor Repairs: Execute minor repairs on products to enhance quality.
  • Sorting: Organize products based on various criteria such as style, color, size, and length.
  • Cleaning: Trim excess materials and remove spots and lint to ensure product presentation.
Work Environment

The work environment is characterized by:

  • Conditions: Dusty and noisy settings typical of a clothing/textile manufacturing facility.
Qualifications

Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
