Job Summary

Akhira Trucking INC is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular checks and maintenance on trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Logistics: Coordinate with dispatchers to receive and relay information, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it properly.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory requirements, including obtaining necessary licenses and endorsements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
