Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Unit Support Worker to join our team at St. Boniface Hospital. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various cleaning functions and services throughout the hospital and annexes
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, lift, and reach continuously throughout the shift
  • Work under the direction of the Supervisor and demonstrate a commitment to the Mission, Values, and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital

Requirements:

  • Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
