Job Title: Concrete Paving Labourer

Miller Paving Limited is seeking a skilled Concrete Paving Labourer to join our team. As a Concrete Paving Labourer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to concrete paving, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, operating mobile and tower cranes, and mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding work
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Work Environment:

As a Concrete Paving Labourer, you will be working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights and in a dangerous environment. You will also be required to work in various locations and travel to different sites.
