Job Summary

Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Science Associate to join our team through our Data Science Rotational Program. As a Data Science Associate, you will have the opportunity to develop broad analytical expertise, work cross-functionally with internal and external teams, and be a key member of our data analytics team.

About the Program

The Data Science Rotational Program is a 2-year program designed to provide you with hands-on experience in data science and analytics. You will work on various projects, including data science, business intelligence, and data visualization, and will have the opportunity to work with senior leaders and subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to business problems
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to address them
  • Design and develop data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Participate in data management and governance initiatives to ensure data quality and integrity

Requirements

  • Expected graduation date of December 2024 or Spring/Summer 2025
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Quantitative Analysis, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools and technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
