Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Delta Hotels Thunder Bay. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring the safety, security, and asset protection of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all engineering and maintenance operations, including budgeting, capital expenditure projects, and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead the emergency response team for all facility issues.
  • Supervise and train engineering staff, including in the absence of the Director of Engineering.
  • Assist in managing the physical plant, including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems.
Requirements
  • 4 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or a related professional area.
  • Technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing.
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or a related major.
