About the Role

OSL Retail Services is seeking a highly skilled Activation Executive to join our team in Calgary or Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and innovating our activation efforts, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand presence both offline and online.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute XM events, in-store activations, and consumer engagement, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and deliverables.
  • Optimize retail communication and messaging, building awareness through effective communication frameworks.
  • Design and develop POSM that allow chilled and ambient placement, ensuring optimal brand visibility and consistency.
  • Create and establish merchandising guidelines, ensuring global brand integrity.
  • Drive consumer engagement across all channels, with a focus on trial activations while leveraging digital tools.
  • Identify and develop new channels and grow existing ones to maximize market reach and engagement.
  • Help support the implementation of digital marketing strategies, leveraging tools like Salesforce Service Cloud, Google Analytics, and CRM.
  • Manage e-commerce platforms, focusing on enhancing online sales and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors for executing digital marketing initiatives and leveraging new technologies.
  • Regularly report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Take the lead in engaging with the global team, ensuring that Canada's activation implementations align with global objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry or with natural health products (NHPs), including familiarity with market trends, consumer behavior, regulatory standards, and product lifecycle management in these sectors.
  • Small to mid-size agency experience with a startup mentality and agency experience in digital, social, and paid media.
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or similar CRM tools.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, preferably with knowledge of Google Analytics and SQL.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with experience in working in Agile methodology.
  • Proficient use of MS Office.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams, aligning local strategies with global objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating strategies and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an innovative and creative approach to overcoming challenges.
