Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Roofing Supervisor to join our team at Laing Roofing Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our roofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule roofing projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of roofers, cladders, and apprentices, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standards and that all necessary safety protocols are being followed.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all employees are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, and that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent accidents.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on project progress, including any issues or concerns.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and arrange for training and development opportunities for employees.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in roofing, with a proven track record of supervising and managing teams.
  • Certifications: Roofer Red Seal Certificate and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
