The Philosophy and Humanities department is seeking qualified candidates for a contract role for the upcoming semester.
The Role:
Candidates should possess a strong background in undergraduate education and demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence.
Responsibilities include instructing students, facilitating their learning experiences, and assessing their academic progress in college-level courses.
You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing educational activities and resources, providing academic guidance to students, and ensuring high-quality, inclusive, learner-centered instruction.
A completed PhD in Philosophy is highly preferred; however, candidates who are ABD in Philosophy may also be considered.Successful candidates must provide evidence of teaching effectiveness through documented student evaluations in relevant courses.
Opportunities for future contract work may be available if courses are offered.
