Position Overview

As a Horticultural Worker at EVERGREEN FARMING & GREEN HOUSE LTD., you will play a vital role in maintaining our greenhouse operations. This position requires a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience ranging from 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine greenhouse cleaning to ensure a safe and productive environment.
  • Engage in hand harvesting of vegetables, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct weeding activities to maintain plant health.
  • Assist in the pruning of trees, shrubs, and plants to promote growth.
  • Plant bulbs and seeds, contributing to the cultivation process.
  • Monitor and report any signs of insect or disease damage to management.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to maintain optimal conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Work Environment

This role involves:

  • Standing for extended periods, requiring physical stamina.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of daily tasks.
  • A strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality outcomes.
