Job Description

Job Title: Senior Applications Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Architect to join our team at Maarut Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure and scalable applications architecture for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure and scalable applications architecture
  • Provide subject matter expertise on cyber security and network security
  • Lead implementation of network security and network protection solutions and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications architecture
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cyber security and network security

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in cyber security and network security
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing secure and scalable applications architecture
  • Proven track record of leading implementation of network security and network protection solutions and technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Relevant security certification required (e.g. CISSP or CISM)
  • Postgraduate degree (e.g. M.Sc. and/or Ph.D.) in computer science or engineering is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Ontario K-12 school boards
  • Experience with software-defined networking (SDN, SD-WAN, SD-Edge)
  • Experience with data and performance monitoring and management systems
  • Experience with network data traffic awareness, monitoring and analysis tools and technologies
