Job Title: Architectural Draftsperson

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join our team at GAGE METAL CLADDING LIMITED. As an Architectural Draftsperson, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs for architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed drawings and designs for architectural projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Train new drafting personnel on design software and techniques
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and documentation packages
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
  • Lead and instruct groups on design and drafting techniques
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drafting and design
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
