Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Equipment Technician to join our team at Integrated Power Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing service, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on various electro-mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test electrical equipment to identify issues and recommend repairs
  • Perform electrical tests using portable electronic equipment, including meggers, multimeters, and DLROs
  • Install and remove AC and DC electric motors, laser align equipment, and perform precision measurements
  • Clean electro-mechanical equipment using bead blasting, ice blasting, and solvent cleaning
  • Ensure a professional environment and provide excellent customer service

Qualifications and Competencies

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Millwright with AC/DC motor experience
  • PdMA testing experience preferred
  • Level 2 Vibration Analysis preferred
  • Proficient in alignments and on-site balancing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and apply analytical problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer focus and professional communication skills
  • Available to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform manual labor for up to 12 hours per day
