We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at HOME BY IDEAL CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare building layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various settings.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying work sites and locations.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Accurate and reliable with excellent teamwork skills.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week in a permanent position.
- Proficiency in English language.
