About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team at TSE Chartered Professional Accountants. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and update general ledgers and financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Journal Entries: Post journal entries in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports, to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management to improve financial performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, organized, accurate, reliable, and proficiency in computerized bookkeeping systems.
