Job Title: Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Les Entreprises Raylobec INC. As a key member of our manufacturing and industrial plant, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

Work Environment

Our work site environment is characterized by dusty and hot conditions, with occasional odours. You will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, handling heavy loads and working under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities
  • Check and weigh materials and products
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers
  • Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
