ROLE OVERVIEW:
The GPU Virtualization team collaborates closely with Cloud Service Providers to harness the capabilities of cutting-edge graphics processors in cloud environments. We are responsible for developing kernel driver software for high-performance, server-grade GPUs, enabling a single GPU to be utilized by multiple Virtual Machines.
As part of a rapidly expanding team of industry experts, you will engage in testing the latest virtualization drivers across various platforms. Your contributions will be vital in qualifying our products through performance assessments, functional testing, and power evaluations.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The successful applicant will possess a robust background in testing methodologies and will play a key role in designing and implementing automation strategies to enhance the testing workflow. This position necessitates close collaboration with development and product teams to comprehend requirements, formulate test plans, and devise automated solutions for diverse Virtual Environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute test cases for GPU Virtualization.
- Establish and maintain an automated testing framework for KVM/HYPER-V/VMWare hypervisors.
- Investigate and resolve issues identified during testing.
- Conduct various testing types including sanity, integration, solution, performance, and stress tests.
- Reproduce and analyze customer-reported issues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Windows PowerShell, and GoLang.
- Experience with software development processes and tools, including debuggers and version control systems, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of KVM/HYPER-V/VMWARE is beneficial.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
